BIANNUAL RECITALS

At Stouffville Music Room, we’re proud to host two recitals every year, providing our students with invaluable opportunities to showcase their musical talents in a supportive and encouraging environment. These recitals offer much more than just a chance to perform; they serve as a platform for students to gain valuable stage experience, express their creativity, and celebrate their progress.

Our recitals are carefully curated to ensure that every student feels comfortable and confident on stage. We prioritize creating a safe and nurturing environment where students can showcase their skills without fear of judgment. Whether it’s their first time performing or they’re seasoned performers, our recitals offer a space for students to shine.

Beyond the spotlight, our recitals foster a sense of community and connection among our students. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to meet and connect with fellow musicians within the studio, forming friendships and building a supportive network that extends beyond the stage. We believe that these connections are just as valuable as the performance itself, enriching the overall musical experience for our students.

Join us at Stouffville Music Room for our next recital and experience the joy of music performance in a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. It’s not just about the music; it’s about creating memorable experiences and forging lifelong connections through the power of music.

PERFORMING STRATEGIES WORKSHOP

Performances are a natural part of the music making process as a way of sharing and celebrating what we have learned with others. Performing can also be nerve wracking. Maybe you feel nervous about how a recital will go, you are striving for a perfect performance, or you are worried about what others may think of your performance. These are all normal concerns to have when it comes to performing.

As a vocalist, performer, and music therapist I have experience and strategies to share on managing your own “butterflies” and feeling your best when it comes to sharing your musicality with others! In this “Strategies for Performance” workshop we will learn more about our mind and body’s response to performing, discuss what we feel leading up to and during a performance, practice strategies, and put our strategies to the test. Hope you can join in the fun!

BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK

JUNE 17-21ST (STUDIOWIDE!)

Whether you’re gearing up for your very first recital or you’re a seasoned performer, BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK offers a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself, hone your focus, and polish your performing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

During BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK, students have the chance to bring a friend or family member to their regular lesson. While practicing their recital piece, students will perform in front of their guest, creating a safe space to work through any performance nerves and gain confidence for the big day.

Please note that BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK is exclusive to private and semi-private lessons. Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate guests in our group classes.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your friends to BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK for a week of musical growth and fun!

WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU
